Yes, I know, I am the money makin guru, but I have a question about what you would do in this investing situation. I am torn between making a fairly small investment into the new and up and coming sport called Slamball. Ok, this is the info on the sport: Slamball, which is a mixture of Basketball, Rugby, and Gymnastics, is making its comeback from its brief stint in 02 and 03. Ex HBO executive Chris Albrecht, is the man funding this new sport. Chris is betting that Slamball, in 10 years will be the most popular sport. The new league will include former NBA players and coaches. The league will be almost exactly like the NBA in the sense that there is a Commissioner, a draft, and foul outs.
Ok, now my investment idea. My first idea that I had was just creating a simple, free blog on Blogger.com. Adding advertisements, and promoting the site frequently could bring the site steady worldwide traffic, and a steady income. My 2nd idea was to make a blog on Wordpress.org. The downside to this is that I would have to pay a hosting fee monthly. I would have no clue if steady traffic would come in if I did not advertise, making it a very risky investment. My final idea was making a forum/website. This by far would be the riskiest investment by far, because forums make the least amount of money. Building up a steady amount of traffic would be hard, unless I paid for people to post threads on the site. All in all I really have no clue what to do, if you have any other opinions or suggestions please let me know.
