The frequency of the content is erratic, and people often comment on the nature of the articles being so random, but that is the point for now….Brandon

Brandon, your a little all over the map. Work on actually posting your passionate writings. Especially because your title tags say, passionate writings, not how to quit smoking.
Next, make your “subscribe” button/sign a little more visible. Get rid of the add on the bottom, it does nothing. After that, put some small Adsense, or something like that under the header.

I don’t really know what to say. You need to actually post your passionate writings, instead of articles that people can get at other more “powerful” sites. Work on that, build links, and, Hykra.com may have a shot.
